Madagascar - The construction of the Mangoky bridge

Linking the Atsimo Andrefana and Menabe regions (South-West), it is part of the Government's strategy aimed at opening up large residential areas and major positive impacts on the development of agriculture, tourism, the economy in general and more specifically the fight against food insecurity in rural areas directly influenced by this infrastructure. The main objectives of the project are:

– the promotion of trade between the Southwest and the rest of the country;

– the contribution to the economic and social development of the project area;

– improving the living environment and reducing poverty among the populations in the project area;
