En 2022, elle s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 passer \u00e0 la seconde phase de son d\u00e9veloppement afin de garantir aux Gabonais, mais aussi aux Africains de la sous-r\u00e9gion, un acc\u00e8s aux m\u00e9dicaments essentiels \u00e0 des prix comp\u00e9titifs et r\u00e9pondant aux normes internationales.<\/p>\n<p>A ce jour, le continent africain importe plus de 80% de ses m\u00e9dicaments de l\u2019\u00e9tranger (essentiellement d\u2019Inde et de Chine), selon les Nations unies. Aussi, l\u2019implantation du site de production de m\u00e9dicaments g\u00e9n\u00e9riques au Gabon a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillie comme une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9volution sanitaire.<\/p>\n<p>Moins d\u2019un an apr\u00e8s son ouverture et malgr\u00e9 la pand\u00e9mie de Covid-19, l\u2019usine pharmaceutique est en capacit\u00e9 de fabriquer une trentaine de m\u00e9dicaments g\u00e9n\u00e9riques (comprim\u00e9s, g\u00e9lules, pommades et sirops conformes) dont les prix \u00e0 l\u2019achat sont de 30% \u00e0 40% moins chers que ceux qui circulent actuellement sur le march\u00e9 priv\u00e9 gabonais. L\u2019usine importe ses mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res notamment d\u2019Europe, tout en utilisant les ressources nationales, dans un pays recouvert \u00e0 plus de 85% par la for\u00eat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Faute de comp\u00e9tences disponibles au Gabon, LSP a propos\u00e9 ses propres formations en interne et a pass\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents partenariats. C\u2019est notamment le cas avec une \u00e9cole de sant\u00e9 au Maroc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A ce jour, LSP compte plus de 100 salari\u00e9s, dont 80% de Gabonais et 50% de femmes. Les 20% d\u2019\u00e9trangers viennent compl\u00e9ter cette \u00e9quipe en apportant leur expertise respective.<\/p>\n<p>La Sant\u00e9 pharmaceutique est d\u00e9sormais en capacit\u00e9 de produire quotidiennement 1 million de comprim\u00e9s par jour, 150 000 flacons de sirop par jour, 20 000 pommades et 600 000 g\u00e9lules par jour.
